Possible Way For FDS / WTS To Stop Power of TTATT

I am new here. So hello to all you veterans.

I have thought of a way that the Slave may publish a WT in the near future to stop any efforts to

teach the Truth About The Truth (TTATT). Here it is:

A WT article comes out and says to use only JW.ORG for your research and that WT library CD won't be being produced

anymore. And maybe this is how they will pitch it:

The WT will say: "...and those devious motived persons will even use our own Watchtower library, "looking at the things behind" (Luke 9:62),

making use of old light. Beware of such individuals, who are not "forgetting the things behind and stretching forward to the things ahead" (Phil 3:13).

They are not pressing on toward the goal of the prize. Jehovah's chariot is on the move and we on the move with it;

while they sit idle in a block of time, stuck in misunderstandings that have been long corrected, in many

cases for decades! There is good reason why the JW.ORG online library only goes back to 2000. It's because our

light is bright! Yes, it now has 15 years of rich spiritual light contained in it. The truth has always been revealed

progressively.

Tuly brothers, of what benefit can be gained by arguing with another brother over a single point made a half century

ago in the Watchtower? So really, it would benefit us the most for us to start using JW.ORG exclusively for our research. This

way we will have the latest information for ourselves and our Bible students. For this reason, then, the Faithful and Discrete Slave

will no longer be producing the Watchtower Library on CD. All information will be online at JW.ORG."

Many congregations have accumulated a supply of older publications. Why not obtain copies for your personal theocratic library? Of course, likely you already have access to the contents of some of these older publications in Watchtower Library. However, there are benefits to having a hard copy too. Are you studying with a progressive Bible student? Then encourage him to obtain these older publications and begin building his personal library. The Theocratic Ministry School overseer should make sure that the Kingdom Hall library contains any older publications that the congregation has in stock. These publications still have value. It is better for us to make use of them than to leave them at the congregation’s literature counter!

Hi singlebaby and welcome to the forum. However the details pan out you are right in saying that the WT will attempt to control the information flow to it's members - it's own history teaches us that. Look forward to hearing more from you.

They will encourage thier members to use a program that they can get for thier computers that will not allow the user of the computer to go to any site that will expose the religion as wrong or evil or a cult etc. This is what Scientology did and the JW will too.

Haha, that would be funny and ironic if they told the flock to "forget the things" behind with reference to their own older publications as if they are like Sodom and Gomorrah, not to be looked back at or you'll turn into a pillar of salt.

I believe there will always be individuals who will leave regardless of what WT says. They'll never stop TTATT- they will try desperatelyn but will never stop it. As the years press on and the "end" never comes more and more people will walk away...

What I'm saying is that if the "sheep" succumb to all of this, is that when we try to bring up older issues of the WT to prove points they will then simply say, "Well, all that's old light, and now the Society doesn't even want us to refer back to that old stuff anyways."
