AssHalls are rarely empty for the weekend?! I wasn't aware that they had that much going on. If so, it's an even bigger scam.

Yes, they're fully booked on the weekends if at all possible. And now the one-day assemblies will allow two conventions to a weekend.
There was 1700 people there. You should've seen it that place was hopping!! I glanced around for a bit during lunch & noticed people taking selfies!!! It was the "best time ever". NOT!! So maybe $17,000 then 1700 people every soul must pay $10 for our top notch facility!!
The Scam use to run $6000.00 per, I guess with inflation the going rate is $17,000.00....
the money is not to pay for just one day circuit assembly hall. Every country has operating costs during the whole year for the branch office, for the assembly halls etcetera etcetera. Those yearly costs are divided over the number of publishers and then you get a certain amount per publisher. That amount per publisher is divided into two and is asked for at the two circuit assemblies.
For a one day event in their own facility?
My thought exactly. Seems pretty inflated, even for them. I've always wondered about the expenses incurred at an assembly, especially since they stopped serving food, and the labor is free.
Ok, so there's bathroom supplies, and water and electricity. Those couldn't possibly add up to that much could they? Unless I'm missing something.

So you're saying that when the publishers think they're paying for just the use of the Circuit Assembly Hall, they're also paying for the branch office, for "the assembly halls" (other ones?), and "etcetera etcetera". Thanks, that explains a lot.
Here's the tax return for a full-time assembly hall in Okotoks, Alberta.
Financial Details:
Occupancy costs for the year, $130,000.
Revenue, $794,000.
