    hi , Fusion Theism ,

I read this brochure and I could see nothing about an amnesty , spiritual or otherwise ,for anyone who left the organization of their own accord ,dacd , themselves , or difd , themselves. And most certainly not those accused as Appostates .

Correct me if I am wrong , however their seems to be no change whatsoever in the last 20 or so years.

Where do you get this amnesty thing from ,? forgiving of past sins with no retribution ? Absolute rubbish ! ,of course you will be hauled over the coals , and sat at the back of the hall for the next 12 months with nobody allowed to greet you in that time.

At best , I would say you are naive , and if so I forgive you .

I believe this idea of amnesty is utter bullshit .

This return to Jehovah brochure is nothing more than a rehash of older return to Jehovah campaigns.

Aimed specifically at weak , fence sitters who cant think for themselves and want others to do their their thinking for them , and their are /were many of them in the congregations .

Also , vulnerable people that religions like Jehovah Witnesses take advantage of in their vulnerability and exploit it to their own advantage , a new recruit , a new $ contributor .

And even though I hate to say this , taking advantage of the less educated among us .

This is not a dig at those with basic or less than basic education , but rather ,

organizations like the WTB&TS / Jehovah Witnesses a supposedly Christian Organization , non profit at that, taking advantage of such ones.

We need to go gentle on Fusion Theism. The poor dear was so excited by the prospect of a breath of fresh air that he went into an apoplectic fit and misheard the actual message as it was spoken.

What he thinks he heard was, "Amnesty we say for sinners is good!" when what was said was, "Aren't we nasty for sinners own good!"

It's amazing what slow deep breathing and the removal of ear wax does for accurate hearing.

Okay, my first overpost on a thread.

    First off,

It is my hope that some people in the Bethel Headquarters may see some of my suggestions and take them to heart.

    Humour of the year award.

Another piece of insulting literature, that addresses the reader as a "sheep" and even portrays them as such, quite literally.

I'm not defending them. Like Gerrit Loesch, I say, " I am not, nor have I ever been under the authority of the WTBTS."

    Well, hello Ms. Lewinsky.

    Welcome to Bethel.

    Fancy a tour?

What? On page 9 there's a sister with her back to the congregation. It can't be a real congregation--there's not even one overweight person in the bunch!

It's all just as fake through the whole book.

It's a tool to clear the conscience of shunners. They can surreptitiously hand this to a DF'ed relative and feel that is now upto the DF'ed person to acquiesce or continue to be shunned.

And what happens if I literally did blaspheme the butt-holy spirit on purpose? Such as deliberately renouncing that thing as guiding mankind to damnation and enslavement. It is absolute that I want nothing to do with pleasing joke-hova, that thing that is just trying to enslave the whole human race that it didn't even create. I do not want anything to do with that fictitious nazarene they call Jesus, because I do not believe in original sin. Without original sin, I do not need this type of "redeemer" or ransom, since there is nothing to be ransomed from. And I certainly do not want that fxxxing butt-holy spirit continuing to drive the Demons even more out of my life, so that thing called joke-hova can ensure I reincarnate into a hyper-devout xian household that could be even worse than the average jokehovians.

Their success rate at conversions is abysmal. Their success rate at getting inactives back in is slightly better. It's just a numbers game.

I had a JW who used to be a neighbor of mine stop by with an elder to invite me to the "special talk" a month or so ago. He's a genuine old guy but the comment earlier in this thread about taking advantage of the less educated reminded me of that visit. Neither the former neighbor or the elder are particularly deep thinkers. He had just run into my parents a week or two earlier at some event and it reminded him he hadn't seen me in five years. I actually felt bad for them for wasting their time with me and wasting their lives in a cult.

I guess my point is, they're going to have to make it somewhat easier to return (for inactives, not apostates) if they don't want their growth numbers to keep shrinking.

Yes return to Jehovah's lying corrupt earthly publishing house, he wants you to work for his publishing house and give money to it as well. You want be in his favor considering that judgment day is coming soon dont you. ?

You know what happened to the people who didn't appease him back in Noah's day ?
