  Its instances like this that support the assertion that the Islamic religious faith has the potentiality to a very dangerous and violent religious practice

  by virtue of the adherence to the writings in the Quran.

  .

  Let it be clearly understood that the Quran states that non-believers (infidels) are to be killed and to be actual beheaded.

  .

  With that kind of instruction one doesn't even have to be an opposer to the faith and your already demeaned with disrespect, something in kind to a lowly animal.

  This is the kind of religious fervor that we are seeing happening now in this recent movement with ISIL.

  .

  What ISIL has done is move themselves back to the time and era of 600 AD. when the Quran was written.

  .

  I hope the US lead military will show them that this kind of religious inspired violence and behavioral intolerance is not the way humanity behaves in the 21st. century.

  I refuse to watch any of these "snuff films" or murder porn like Gregor says. I have a feeling that image would stay in my head the rest of my life so I don't want to even look at it for any reason. That's what these b a s t a r d s want us to see and I won't participate.

  This kind of religous violence in the 21st century has no place in the world (nor did it in the past, either). Killing in the name of God, Allah, FSM, whatever, it's sick, sick, sick.

  I hope somewhere, sometime, these monsters get what's coming to them.

  One friend on Facebook called these poeple "godless." They're not godless. This is the end result of devotion to the point of manic fear. And in that wake good people, a "decent, caring human being" as the Independent (UK) called him, gets butchered in a sick evolution of bullying and ego. Yet, it's such an old story... and although the names of the religions have changed, one solid fact still remains: Good people the world over, regardless of background, get OUTRAGED over other good people who get murdered for no other reason.

  I'm glad at the responses from this post. Yes, over the past 700 years the gods may have shifted, but human resiliency will march on, and this will not be forgotten.

  My mind boggles that these religous fanatics would think that such actions would draw people to ALLAH or the ISLAM faith , if anything , I see it as a barbaric bloodthirsty religion that has no place in our society , present or future.

  The backlash of these atrocities against muslims by the people in the west is what ISIS wants to further their aims and that is what they will get.

  These people need to be left alone to their own devices .The military exercise led by america and its allies in Iraq are doomed to fail , it will be worse than Afghanistan or even Vietnam .

  Correct me if I am wrong : ISLAM , the muslim religion practices stoning to death , amputations , public hangings , female circumcissions , child brides , oppression of the female species ,little or no education for females , and have made no advancement or acheivements to society at all.

  On the one hand they condemn western society as decadent yet use the technology the west has provided for their own ends .

  The factor that I find worrying is that Islam is reported to be the fastest growing religion. I believe it was 1.86% last year and simply because of its already-large numbers, this means 1.86% produces the largest number of new adherents.
