Russell predicted global warming and the restitution of Israel. So that counts as... wait, what's that, you say? Russell wasn't a Witness, and the org. has been distancing themselves from him?

I have to admit, the "Truth Network" is actually a pretty catchy nickname (even if it doesn't end up being used ).

I guess we'll have to call our thing "The Truth About The Truth (Network)"?
"TTATTN"?

Hmm... not so catchy.
Maybe I'll just stick to "TTATT"; I still wanna get tattooed with that someday.

It ain't even that great a disguise; like Clark Kent's glasses.

Its a business disguised as a religion!
A tax-free business don't forget.
Religion is the business to be in.

This is why is not such a good idea to take it all so seriously. My personal stance towards JWs is validated more and more with each passing day!
It's a great social network, a business, just one more religion. Whatever!
Unless it gets done within the frame of a social gathering, I will never waste time watching. I am sure the more orthodox JWs in my family will bring it up, then I will pretend it is awesome of course.
I am sure they caught on to the high amount of cash tv evangelists rake in, and do not want to be missing out on it.

I imagine in your position with your light hid under a barrel, Gustv Cintrn, the Kingdom Hall seems quite cozy. But such a perspective is necessarily...diminished. I can name a half-dozen organizations that provide a superior social network.
Another contender for business masquerading as a religion, is Focus on the Family. Pretty slick publishing house.
