What happened to GB member Leo Greenlees??

I would like to ask JWs who are visiting here to go check their Watchtower indexes for Leo Greenlees. He was a member of the Governing Body, he also is the ONLY Governing Body member whose disappearance from the GB is not documented in Watchtower literature!

The announcement of the death, resignation or dismissal of every GB member can be found in Watchtower publications EXCEPT that of Leo Greenlees!!! He just disappears with no word. One day he is giving Gilead Graduation talks etc. and it seems that the next he just disappears. Why???

Why no announcement of his death, no announcement of his leaving, no anything!

This is a mystery! Whatever happened to Leo Greenlees????????????

Ol boy was removed from the GB for being involved in the molestation of young boy, I believe.

After his removal he was set up as a special pioneer here in New Orleans. He served in the Downtown Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. The friends I met there were under the impression that he was a follower of Ray Franz. They knew nothing of his homosexuality or the the molestation charges.

He said he was sorry when his being a pedophile came out so the other Gov Body members quietly "forgave" him, had him get off the Gov Body with them but didn't disfellowship him as they would anyone else. They were glad to get him out quietly, covered it all up. Ewart Chitty was also kicked off quietly but for homosexuality.

Ewart Chitty's leaving of the GB was documented in the 1980 yearbook, page 258. While it did not mention why he left, unlike Greenlees, they at least acknowledged that he no longer was a member of the Governing Body. [8>]

Ok...so the gb is supposed to represent Jah's heavenly org on earth right?

I'm pissed, really pissed. No wonder they hold so fast to the two witness policy...to protect their so-called spirit-annointed cliche!

I thought that the annointed were stronger than regular humans and their heavenly hope is what keeps them focused and clean. I thought they were God's integrety keepers and proved his sovereignty like Job?

I believe this issue is an important one. Why did the Watchtower not report the dismissal of Leo Greenlees? He was a member of the Governing Body!

Why does he disappear in the Watchtower literature without mention?

Why is he the only one that is not accounted for????
