Lol I am going to say all of these terms as often as possible when I am around witnesses. I saw a cute smurfs tshirt I wanted to get, too. I would love to prompt them to tell me the smurfs story so I could give them the Wtf look.

"Bullet in" board was from the war.

Casualties' names were posted at home.

I've noticed the elders don't like it when I call them "cowards" and tell them to "fuck off."

Perhaps you should counsel the local elders when they say "true Christians." You are either a Christian or you're not. Adding the word "true" does nothing to the meaning. It's like saying "real pregnancy." Either you're pregnant or you're not. There's no in between.

In simple terms, a Christian is someone who obeys Christ. (That's what "exercising faith" means isn't it?)

    Luke 21:8

He said: "Look out that YOU are not misled; for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The due time has approached.’ Do not go after them.

That is not a recommendation from Jesus Christ.

    It's a commandment!

So what should a "true" Christian do?

    Do not go after them!

the Wizard of Oz comparison to the GB, I memntioned it a few times when evidence was being gathered for my JC, (kangeroo court another one) and when the term, was used in the hearing the elders looks could kill!

Born Again is another, plus heaping praise and respect on other Bible translations I also made a mistake of bringing an NIV to a meeting once, not a good move

The term "the Society" has been deprecated in 2001 when the Governing Body stepped off from their positions as directors and executives of the corporations. Since then it's "the branch office" in most letters from the branch or "the organization" / "Jehovah's Witnesses" in other contexts.

The Standards Manual also lists several wordings that are to be avoided.

freddo, you reminded me that now "impaled" may be on its way out, since it's been removed from the NWT.
