Sometimes I just play his videos in silence so I can look into his eyes.

Since the WTS has instructed that its adherent followers are to tell half truths when imposing questions are being levied at the internal operations of the organization.
Is it really surprising that the head PR for the WTS. would not reveal the actual full undisclosed activity of the organization, particularly around a sensitive issue as disfellowshipping. ?
But to be honest there are many other religious institutions that have similar shunning policies just like the JWS, Amish, Mennonite, Mormons, Moonies etc.
This is part of the power game they seek to play, to their own established formation of power and control.
Unfortunately there is no way to leave this organization if you were once baptized in it and wanted to leave, without being ostracized by all of the adherent members because people who do leave are quickly identified as turning against god himself and that person is forever demonized by its members, even family are instructed to shun these people .

It should be noted that this shunning policy onto anyone who was once a member and later decided to leave out of doctrinal disagreement and have had their own parents or brothers and sisters shun them, has caused some people to commit suicide . The number of these poor individuals would be in the hundreds by now.

This is the truth and reality in which no member or certainly a PR representative will never be openly honest about. The subjective truth coming out of any JWS, from the bottom rank and file to the top tier PR heads is one that is solemnly biased in favor toward the image of the JW organization ( God's own chosen organization ) and all JWS have been mentally indoctrinated to do just that.
