Can a religion claim: “Only we have the truth”?

A religion can claim whatever it wants to. It is up to the individual to demand factual evidence to back up the claim. When this cannot be produced, you have your truthful answer.

Any organization that claims to have exclusive knowledge of 'the truth' is a cult. My advice is to walk away.

There is a diner in my end of town displaying a hand-painted sign which boasts:

"Best damned food in the Universe!"

    I eat there.

I asked the proprietor one day, "What do your meals do to achieve damnation?"

He cocked his head like a pup in a pet store window.

I could see the wheels turning.

Finally, he sorted through my meaning as a half-smile slithered up on one side of his face and hung there.

He nodded slightly and pointed his craggy finger at me admonishingly and wagged it a couple of times.

They can claim anything they want .......... all religion is based on mythology and mystical thinking - none of it provable - so, yeah.

Hell, I am the true Wonder Woman! Prove me wrong!

    Kalos,

Thank you for your long explanation of human consciousness. I do believe that humans have a conscience. But I do this only as a result of heritage and education.

You say quote: Like my dream, the experimental results of quantum theory confirm that the properties of particles in the “real” world are also observer-determined.

Yes I know that some results from quantum theory are very odd or strange. Like that some electrons of atoms seems to “knowing each other even in remote distance”!!

But then you are adding something that a modern scientist cannot do. You interpret those results as a proof of a Godthing, a Transcendental new world that no one in fact can proof.

Yeas I like to watch the stars in the night in the Nordic countries. But I cannot over interpret and say that I believe there is a mystic figure that runs their lines and circles, and that he is telling us our future if we just listen to him!??
