Great question, lambsbottom! It's odd that if you include verses before and after Matthew 25:31, Jws run into problems. Even MORE problems than they did trying to explain the WBTS Inc's teachings, which JWs claim were "their own", BEFORE 1995!

The prophecies in Matthew. Were about the destruction of Jerusalem , the temple and the old covenant. It has nothing to do with the so called end of the world. Messiah told those standing in front of him what would happen in their lifetime and it did.He came back for them as he promised. THe delsuion by religion is that it was a future event

He is only stnading right now. The sitting will occur during future Great Tribulation, when the full 144,001 are in heaven.
At that time the Kingdom Clock can be reset so the 1000 Year Reign of Kingdom Rule can begin, again.
Meanwhile, party like it's 2014, because we now been living under 100 Years of Kingdom Rule! We even have a website!

THe KIngdom is within man and has been since the 1st century.He rules in the heart sof those who love him. THe Mystery of the ages not known for generations but revealed to the gentiles in the 1st century the mystery is "christ in us" the hope of glory. Messiah has ruled as king for 2000 years.There is no more death or sin for those in Christ.The way into the KIngodm is open for all to enter in. Yes the prophecy was fulfilled in 70ce when Titus son of god Vespasian destroyed jerusalem and the temple.
