Elie Wiesel has a very controverisial past whether he was in Auschwitz or not. As a early member of Irgun, the militant group of Jews whose ideology was Statehood by any means necessary, they carried out murder and terrorism against Palestinians and the Bristish to establish modern Israel. The modern Likud Party is the current incarnation of Irgun.

I agree with all you say. But it it wasn't for the book "night" on the Auschwitz exsperience, none of the rest would have been possible.
I dont want to damage a reputation, but i think the " non tattoo" should be clarified.
This thread could become very controvetsial. Maybe suggestions on possible " great imposters" that we can independently research is better?

Many people exaggerate their past for gain, false college degrees, miltary service, you name it. Maybe the greatest Imposter of all time was Jesus of Nazareth- Son of God, God in the flesh, that only fooled 2 + billion people.
