Unfortunatly the video explained nothing and is not available to anyone other than elders. Also the format was a pup in service talking to a rv. It was clearly a test run for future demos. It Was very well received locally and i think we will see more but obviously not to show to doubters

Yes, I can see where it is just another piece of "amunition" for those who question the 607BC date.
Up until now, they would just refer you to the WT articles in the Oct 1 & Nov 1, 2011 issues. "See there, they answered those questions in detail in those articles." Even though they were just smoke & mirrors and WT propaganda, most JWs and most apathy-laden members or studys wouldn't dig any further.
A video is even better for brain-dead non-thinkers.

The video didn't really tell you how to "explain" 1914 in detail. To do it as the video shows you have to do many things.
1. You automatically accept that 607 is the date of the fall of Jerusalem.
2. There was no explanation about why it was a literal 7 years for Nebuchadnezzar but it is 2520 years in our day. They try to say Jesus in Luke indicates that it is longer but Jesus is talking about the coming destruction of Jersusalem that occured in 70 ce.
3. No explanation on why you count 7 years in 360 day increments.
4. No explanation about a day for a year and why it applies.
5. No explanation why you can cherry pick scriptures from all sorts of different books and somehow they all are a part of the same prophecy.
6. Correct me if I am wrong but isn't this a type/antitype that they are doing away with?
