The holidays (* or lack of them) has never been a big deal to me.
I mentally left the Org because I formerly believe it was The Truth(TM). After learning TTATT I now know differently. It's a lie. Adding holiday celebrations to what it is right now, would not make it true to me again.

im going to my granddaughters bd party for the first time shes going to be 13.
ill never do halloween, i wont 'do' christmas but enjoy pretty lights and family dinners, [not that we ever attended any]
and the holiday spirit of just being nice. I might get my only grandchild a gift, maybe.
most of my family are jws so they dont bother with us, my husbands family wont bother with us
because being jws in the past we never bothered with thier family dinners so they never invited us.
my husband wants a turkey dinner, but we have no one to invite. yet.
more work for me. yay!
