Interesting how the three comittee "elders" are portrayed as monkeys. . . or at least they are quite monkey-like.

Interestingly. That image reminds me of a painting by William Kurelek, called "The Maze":

In its "cells" are some similar pictures of the Bethel inquisition it brings to my mind as well; like in the lower middle and left corner cells.

Excellent painting! Beware of men (monkeys) in suits knocking on your door with a Bible.

The donkey could have also been represented as a sheep or lamb.

I woke up in the middle of the night and had this image in my mind. It is haunting.

I'm a fader. This photo just breaks my heart for those that have endured a JC and were DF'd. A half dozen people come to mind.

The donkey's tears are my own.
