Lets hope the G.B.never learn from their mistakes , refusing to comply with court instructions.

With the recent case of the watchtower hierarchy defying the court to either produce documents relating to child sex abuse claims within their organisation, and also refusing to produce a governing member to appear in court to answer questions , not only shows their arrogance and defiance of the law , they also show their contempt of the judicial system of the USA .

Arent they supposed to be obeying the bible injunction ?" Pay back ceasers things to ceaser ?"

"When you are hailed before the courts , I will put words in your mouth ?"

Irwin Zalkin , lawyer for his client obtaining a 13.5 million dollar judgement against the WTB&TS , hopefully is just the beginning of more to come.

20 more cases in the pipeline ? Keep up your arrogance and non co-operation with judges and snubbing your nose at the law G.B.

20 more cases + court defiance = judgement in default = 10 million per case = $ 200 million! (excluding future cases)

Yes, keep up with the defiance

Couldn't agree more! I sometimes daydream about the day that I see my families faces when the whole thing unravels. I guess only time will tell but in the meantime we'll just have to be patient.

Unfortunately, not learning from the mistakes of court compliance means a continuation of not learning the mistakes associated with child protection. I see your point and I agree it would be very satisfying to grab a Coke and a bag of popcorn and watch the WTS take one bloody nose after another for their arrogance. But it would come at a very high a price.

That said, it may play out the hard way anyway given the attitudes of superiority coming out of Brooklyn.

I wonder if they're playing a shrewd game here? Things aren't always as they seem.

Perhaps the WBT$ are confident that with such tactics they can escape financial loss?

Am I right in thinking the cases are ongoing and nothing has been paid out by the WBT$ yet?? (Or did I just daydream that to fill my boring time?)

    Just a thought.

    Punk,

For whatever reason, it is the Dark Lord's strategy. But sooner or later, after the appeals are exhausted, they will have to pay up. It would seem to me that keeping the Dark Lords away from court is the only strategy. Prosecuting attorneys would have a field day ripping them apart with their own words. There is a gold mine of damning evidence against them in the WT publications, stretching back for decades. If I'm the prosecuting attorney, I would spend excrutiating amounts of time, once I got one of the Dark Lords before me, asking them to respond to the idiot quotes and moronic directives provided over the years to the rank and file, and especially to the elders. I'm certain the attorneys have all of it; it is discoverable if not already made available by people like us. Big Smiley.

If I'm the WT attorney, I'm keeping the Dark Lords and their delusional narcissistic dumb asses away from public viewing at all cost.

I can imagine how the holy holy holy governing body members probably don't even know what the current light is apart from 'we are the greatest'.

They would be an epic fail when questioned methinks.

    PunkofNice,

The Dark Lords may appear magical and mystical and all powerful to the Borgians, but if they were exposed to the harsh, rational light of analysis brought about by a courtroom scenario, they would come across as uneducated, simpletons and buffoons. And yet their grandiose words written and imposed on its followers for decades are the very thing that will bury them once truly exposed. If Toto could expose the Wizard imagine how much more likely a trained prosecutor with an attitude can do to these pathetic delusional evil little men in NY.

Honestly, I think they may have the best strategy for their situation - they're screwed either way but they're just trying to make the best of a bad situation. They have documented and OCR'd (thus easily searchable) lists of known pedophiles in their possession that they cannot give up to be made public record. Right now there may be 20, even 100 cases in the pipeline against them, but if they have a list of a thousand pedophiles that they've protected and failed to do anything about, they're better off taking the blows that they get from the victims that come forward.

If a lawyer gets a hold of the list and it becomes public record, they immediately have ammunition for countless more lawsuits, possibly a class-action law suit. A lawyer could easily make a lifelong career off of picking a name on the list, finding his victims (especially those victimized after the WTS was made aware of his pedophilia) and encouraging them to sue. what's 200 million in settlements and rulings when it could easily be in the billions?

Has the "Shepperd the Flock" book been brought in to bear in these pedophile cases? Oh, the irony of it all.
