The big deal is this: If this trend towards posing with cartoon characters were occurring in any other religious group, the JWs would have even recently instantly judged it as worldy and part of the showy nominalism (they argue) that characterizes the churches of Christendom. I think of earlier generations of Witnesses who were stoical, no-nonsense believers who would have grimly condemned tne showy superciality rampant within the modern organization. if this is the snazziness of a religion on the cusp of the new system of things, please tone down the distracting displays of "Look at me!" and behave in an apt manner. This is not the focused behaviour of a group who fervently believes in the nearness of the end.

Love the first comment about how his rings are so stylish and then the comments stating how inappropriate it is to post this picture (because the gb have asked not to be posted to any social media) and requesting this picture be taken down. Awake at last
What happens when Caleb and, or Sophia get disfellowshipped. They are being pushed into all this at such a young age. They will be teenagers in a few years. Will we have to shun their cardboard cutouts? Will someone be posting a pic on this site of them in the Bethel skip bin? "Got Junk". YOU BET WE HAVE!

What is with these GB 2.0 members and their rings? I checked this photo out. I counted at least 3 rings on Losch with possibly a pinky ring on his right hand. To me it just looked cheesy for an older guy. The JW religion I remember would have counseled someone to not look so showy, worldly or possibly be stumbling to anyone. I doubt a person wearing that many rings would even get appointed elder, much less chosen by God as Christ's brother and one to govern his people on earth. LOL
I certainly would never have thought I'd see a JW GB member wearing 3 or 4 rings. I was going to post his picture here, but I couldn't copy it. LOL
