It seems the 'New' thing is the technology, you can now be plugged in to the annual and formerly off-limits meeting. That little bobble should keep the masses satisfied for another year. Gives them time to come up with something different.

if you were in the Org's position awaiting the Candace Conti appeal verdict - which will have monumental consequences if they lose - then the obvious course is damage limitation.
Don't let the media tell the sheeple about all the donations and pledges being used to pay off victims, tell them yourself and sugar-coat the reason - JW.ORG is being persecuted!!

This so called test of faith may be that the WT is going bust.
Well certainly not that, the WTS has never been richer $$$ , the real-estate owned by this organization world
wide alone is worth over a billion ( US ).
The Test of faith most likely has to do with the fact that the WTS. has been propagating false misleading information
to the public for over a century and just out shear fate or bad timing, there is the INTERNET and the beginning age of
information that exposes all of those commercialized lies and corruption.
