Anthony Morris - AP's in August, 900%, increase, yet decrease in BS's

The only video that I've found of TOMO is 39:00 minutes long - the ending is missing.

Various posts mentioned highlights of the tremendous witness in August, with a 900% increase in AP's, as well as some other magnificent accomplishment that I cannot locate.

Then I painfully listened to the video to verify, and at about 38:00, TOMO bemoans the downward trend in Bible Studies.

The best August of all-time, yet downward trend.

Looks like the toilet bowl is swirling.

If you can't sell something then at some point, no matter what the advertising budget is, you have to accept that people just don't want to buy your crap.

The trouble is that the WTS doesn't pay the cost, it's members do. So they are happy to keep pushing their sham-wow religion.

SImon, what do you mean? First I bought the Ginsu knife, then the veg o matic, bald spot hair spray, and oh yeah, WTBT$ is Gods chosen group. BTW, where can I git me one of them Sham Wows?

You don't start a study by directing people to jw dot org. All that does is gets people to check that site, and then cross-reference everything they find that doesn't make sense. They find too much rubbish, that's the end of that call. The publisher that did the Dirty Thirty to reach that householder wasted the time.

Strait up spin with a little reality poking through. I think the WT has or will shortly peak. Anyone directed to JW.org with the least bit of interest will google "Jehovah's Witnesses" then the "jig is up".

I love how the WTS uses statistics:

900% increase in APs for August!- It must be Jehovah's Blessing (TM)

Bible studies are down - You lazy bastards need to get off your asses and work harder!

Not to mention the fact that a large portion of the APs for august where probably appointed men who were heavily pressured into doing it, and didn't make their time. They give the number that signed up, but I'd love to see how many actually made the measly 30 hours.

The hour requirement is so low, it's no wonder the average JW aux. pioneers in the summer. the lack of studies is pretty easy to explain.

the ministry now consists of tract campaigns. there's like 3 a year now at the very least. there's carts which is just handing out lit and taking the person's information if they want more. JWs are encouraged to play videos to people. again, no real teaching. and now a JW can send a text message as an RV. again, no teaching.

gee i wonder why there's no bible studies.

In our congregation, there were 40-something APs in August, and at least 1/3 did not get their 30 hours, a few got less than half way there.

But they go their names read from the platform, with applause!

That of course is the most important thing.

I was being a little unfair with my comparison - a Sham Wow is actually of some use to people.
