  OK, so, Brother Morris seems to have gone out on a limb with his comments about tight pants. Yup, he's an opinionated man. BUT, I fully expect that there will be some reference to the scientific wisdom behind his words. Whether this defense of Bro Morris will be in print or the visiting CO will have some brief (ahem!) comment about the biological wisdom of allowing the "boys" to swing free, we will see. But the fact remains that research has shown that the design of a man's body makes provision for more healthy sperm when he does not wear tight pants. Also, the incidence of testicular cancer is lower in men who allow the free swing of their genitalia.

  sorry, people. The GB is proven right again on this one. We had a ball criticizing the guy, but the Great Designer in the sky is going to back this guy up.

  Ok, so the "boys" should have freedom of movement, but it's better for the youthfulness of the "girls" to be firmly supported. Speaking of tight pants, guess I am out of the loop here, not up on latest men's fashions and didn't really connect with what he meant...till I saw the Volkswagon commercial. The guy really does have on a close fitting suit with tight pants, but I think it looks quite snazzy on him. He is on the lean side though, and I don't think a guy with too much meat on his bones would look good it that style. Maybe that is why Bro Morris is against it, too much meat on his disgusting bones.

  I don't know if they will defend him on a scientific basis because then they would have to defend his other comments on the same basis. I expect they will at least write an article on modest dress, even citing previous articles that they have written on the subject. To justify the coloured socks comment they may suggest that it is not appropriate to dress in a way that makes them stand out from the crowd. They may even talk about designers, without a homosexual comment, but to suggest that they are worldly designers ready to entrap people in wearing inappropriate clothing.

  The article will probably come out sooner rather than later, or at least not their usual practice of taking months to bring out an article on something they want known.

  So, yes, there could be a "mismatch" here between an evolutionary perspective which would favor "loose pants" (or even no pants) as being most adaptive, as opposed to a more cultural perspective favoring "tight pants" which would, according to the speaker, attract only members of the same sex (not very adaptive).

  I'm going to cut right down the middle (ouch! That hurt just saying it!) and choose pants that "fit" me, neither tight nor loose.

  Homosexuals don't breed, so the quality of their sperm is not important. JWs should not procreate in these final few seconds of the last days, so there sperm quality should not be a factor for them either.
