Bill, prepare to get disfellowshipped. I'm fairly sure his congo elders put the judicial committee on hold on direct orders from Brooklyn. They wanted the show to air before they axed him.

I can't believe I am sitting here in front of my tv crying. I know I am a sissy but this hits home for me.
LILACS: Don't feel bad - you weren't the only one with tears in their eyes while watching Dateline! Whle not a victim myself, I was close to some who were (including one neice & 2 nephews), and am familiar with the type of coverup & secrecy surrounding pedophiles and their victims. The story was done with no Fox News-type sensationalism, just a straight report with clear FACTS, presented very well by the reporter.

I couldn't believe my eyes last night. I was afraid I'd be disappointed with NOT getting an entire hour dedicated to the issue. But I was surprised and elated that the show was so WELL DONE! I cried, I laughed, I clapped! I felt so proud to see Erica do SO WELL in the interview. God have mercy, she is a strong woman!
*sigh* I know this is just the beginning, but I am so relieved. I hope this just opens the floodgates for more people to come forward. Even if they don't leave the WTS, just coming forward will do them so much good!
