If I recall correctly, the trial judge of Paul Berry was very impressed by Holly's eloquence in telling her feelings about her stepfather and stepfather's religion.

well crawdad, let's say i had been raped and someone casually mentions well, you are so pretty i can see why that happened. how do you think that would make me as the victim feel? like it was my fault that's how.

Holly's abuser got a minimum of 57 years in prison. You can read the details at Silent Lamb's website. Not only did two of his daughters testify that they were both abused, but the third daughter, who didn't testify, has claimed to be abused as well.
Paul Disgusting Berry will be a minimum of 100 years old if he is ever released.
What is sick is that he remains in good standing in the Org. There were dozens of JW supporters there to testify on his behalf at the sentencing hearing. The judge really let them all have it telling them not to trust people just because they appear to be God-fearing.
Okay....I didn't mean it the way you took it. I know what the dubs will say, about her.......but I thought the contrast between Holly and Erica was a good one. They could jump all over Holly and dismiss the whole thing, if it weren't for Erica. My friend, told me she felt so sorry for Holly, so it wasn't as bad an impression on her as it will doubtless be with the others.
I didn't mean to imply that Holly isn't all together, only that Erica LOOKS like she is, in the eyes of most dubs. I know a lot about Holly and Heather, and I know she is a great gal.

I didn't want to be the one to start a thread like this but I guess I'll comment. I thought Erica was really hot. Amazingly hot as a matter of fact. Holly could be if it weren't for the self mutilation, however, she seemed life a really cool person. Often times that is more important.
