In an alleged 'apostasy' scenario, the basis for discussion would be whether you believed that JW.ORG was God's direct channel of communication on earth or not - yes or no - then the axe would fall without any scriptural evidence or discussion being presented by the accused.
How 'bout if you answered: Of course I do! But I would sure appreciate your help in compiling all the evidence I can use to prove this for my family/friend/spouse/etc. Perhaps you could each give me 1 or 2 proof texts from the Scriptures. [Listen for pin to drop.]
