Even here in New Zealand, medical teams have rapid access to the courts to secure medical treatment for minors whose parents object to specific medically necessary procedures. Interestingly, seldom if ever do parents appeal or protest. I'd say these parents are very likely relieved they can be seen as " obeying" their faith yet their children still receive necessary treatment. Best of both worlds!
