Indeed it does.

I have to assume that these white blood cells die once they get to the baby's stomach and were there just to make sure the mothers milk was not contaminated in some way while still in her breast or am I wrong on this??
I believe the first "fraction" the WTS allowed were those from white blood cells.

Is it proper for a Christian to receive an injection of a blood fraction, such as immune globulin or albumin?
Responding to God’s law, Christians do not accept blood transfusions of the major blood components—plasma, red cells, white cells, or platelets. Some of Jehovah’s Witnesses, however, have conscientiously felt able to receive an injection of one of the small protein fractions of the plasma. Interestingly, some of these proteins naturally pass from the bloodstream of a pregnant woman to the separate blood system of her fetus.—6/1, pages 30, 31.
The only recourse I can see from the borg., if this argument was made......which it is most likely not too (dubs on read WT's remember), is that the entire process of human life from a mother to unborn child involves the sharing of blood. Therefore, nursing wouldn't be considered an issue. Or some bologna like that.

On a more serious note, I find it hard to comprehend why the medical profession and their lawyers don`t take a more active role in debunking the reasons jehovahs witnesses take for refusing blood transfusions , yet accept blood fractions from non witness donors , even bovine blood , not permitted to donate their own blood to be re-introduced into their own bodies , yet allow blood to be taken out of your body , go through a purifying machine and then re-enter your body , and called Diallysis .
What is it about todays society that they are so afraid to step on the toes of religous people.
You guys have exposed the insanity of the blood rule the governing body has imposed on the rank and file of jehovahs witnesses , its about time the medical profession got the guts to do the same.

You cant eat the cake but eating the ingredients seperately is okay...what a joke.
Thanks for all the input guys. I know there is a lot of holes in the blood doctrine, especially pertaining to fractions. But what is glaring to me is that white blood cells are Not fractions, they are one of the four major components of blood that are forbidden under any circumstances. It is also totally forbidden to store your own blood or that of a family members, like your Mother's. Yet when the baby drinks, he/she is drinking white blood cells. So if a baby or a child gets a disease where their white blood cell count is low and needs a transfusion of white blood cells this is still forbidden even if the child were given their Mother's blood. I don't see where this portion of the doctrine can be explained away with all the mental gymnastics in the world. I so want to say something to some of my family, there are two especially that this would really make them think...maybe I will find a way to do it without bringing up the doctrine at all, and maybe it will cause them to think a little about it.
Crazyguy...I would think you are on the right track there. I think I'd like to research it and find out.
