An interesting comment made by Russell in the February 1881 Zion's Watchtower page 3:
'As we look backward we can see that our pathway has been as "a shining light...shining more and more." It has been progressive, bringing us strength with "meat in due season." It has caused us to grow both in grace and knowledge and this growth, taken in connection with the fact that we are not obliged to look back and now call darkness what was then called by some of the brethren, "a great flood of light," is the very strongest grounds for confidence that the same Lord who then supplied us light from the word, is still providing of the same kind. We say then, "cast not away your confidence" in our Leader, "the great shepherd of the sheep."
'If we were following a man undoubtedly it would be different with us; undoubtedly one human idea would contradict another and that which was light one or two or six years ago would be regarded as darkness now: But with God there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning, and so it is with truth; any knowledge or light coming from God must be like its author. A new view of truth never can contradict a former truth. "New light" never extinguishes older "light," but adds to it. If you were lighting up a building containing seven gas jets you would not extinguish one every time you lighted another, but would add one light to another and they would be in harmony and thus give increase of light: So is it with the light of truth; the true increase is by adding to, not by substituting one for another.'

"New light" is simply a way out for religious organization to explain past errors it has made. God does not make mistakes.
With The Most High God, there is no "new light."
What many ARE NOT seeing is that "a book" is being made what God's Son ONLY is. For example, it the video playlist 6 "What Does the Bible Really Teach" notice what is happening right before your very eyes: The BIBLE IS MADE TO BE A TEACHER!!!
It should not be "What Does The Bible Really Teach" but rather "What Does Christ Teach."
Jesus said at Matthew 23:10 that he is our only Teacher and Leader. How in the world that a book usurp that role and gets all of the props?
Many love to talk about what the Prophets of old said, but The Most High God did not send any of them to us. He sent His Son to us and he commanded us to "Listen to" His Son.
People, what are you doing? A book has become a "Golden Calf" a replacement for the one who is "The truth, the way, and the life."
A book is being pushed upon the world by religious organization and it stands in a holy place where it does not belong. Only Christ can stand in that place.
Test this: Visit the official Watch Tower website and count the number of times "The Bible" is mentioned as opposed to "Christ."
Even on this webiste (I say this respectfully), count the number of times "The Bible" is mentioned as opposed to Christ being mentioned.
I might add that no human agency (Religious Organizations) can occupy that lofty and holy position.
Yet, it has positioned itself in between God's creation (man) and Christ himself and it prevents access to Christ and utlimately the Father.
Religious organization is like a virus software application. It quarantines the truth and removes those who question and challenges them.
Know who the truth is: Christ himself (John 14:6). No book by any name or religious organization is the truth.
Stop revering men and religious "organizations" as it is blasphemous.
