Gosh, I used to love the Electric Company! It's hard to believe now that both Morgan Freeman and Rita Moreno were on that show. Not to mention the Amazing Spider Man! LOL!

Hey, does anyone else remember that really tacky but oh so fun, "Electra Woman and Dyna Girl"? Too fun!

    Mister Biggs,

Scrolled back through those photos and noticed another of my childhood favorites..."The New Zoo Revue." Haven't thought about that show in ages. What I wouldn't give to see an episode or two of that one!!

Well, both my sister and I grew up in the seventies and Eighties...but my little sister always remarks that she thinks all the music for 1970s TV shows sounds like bad porno music....I don't ask where that comes from, I don't want to either. But does anyone else agree with her?
As for me, I always liked the theme song for "Welcome Back, Mr. Kotter"...but I was little kid, so I was easily impressed. I thought it sure beat the uptempo crowd-pleasing "We are Jehovah's Witnesses" song from the the dubs' songbook.

    dustrabbit-

When I used to hear the theme songs from shows, I used to think that the stars of the show were doing the singing (i.e., Welcome Back Kotter...The lead singer would say, "Who'd athought they'd need ya'?" and the background singers (who I thought were the Sweathogs) would repeat it).
The silly mind of a kid!!!

    FriendlyFellaAL-

There has to be a way to obtain the shows on video cassette or DVD. How cool would that be?

I don't know why, but I always busted a gut when that dude (what was his name) on "Good Times" said, "Dy-no-mite!"
