Does anyone have a copy of the Watchtower 1/1/89 (Not the Bound Volume).

I am willing to pay for an original copy.

"As every one knows, there are mistakes in the Bible" - The Watchtower, April 15, 1928, p. 126
    Believe in yourself, not mythology.

Wouldn't you rather have the CD version? Or at the very least, would a photocopied version suffice? I have the bound volume, but... that's a tad too big.

I need the original magazine... The one that publishers presented to people at the door.

Thanks! I would greatly appreciate it if some of you could dig around through your old issues (we all know how they tended to collect due to non-placement) .

You'll be hard pressed to find anyone who will part with one of these. Here's a link to a scan of the page of interest, though: "home.attbi.com/~alanf00/images/w89_1_jan_p12.jpg" Put "http://" in front, of course. The rest of the magazine is the same as in the bound volume.

I wrote, "Why is that page remarkable? I've looked at the jpeg from Alan's site and I can't see anything interesting on it."

But now I see the "20th century" reference.

    So: "NEVER MIND!"

Check paragraph 8.. the final sentence:

He was also laying a foundation for a work that would be completed in our 20th century.
Yet another example of the WTBTS literature being their own worst enemy.

They insert their foot into their own mouths.

LOL, as usual the Watchtower's worst enemy is the Watchtower!

They've been digging in the Euphrates Valley and have uncovered a layer of agrarian culture 8,000 years old, and an older caveman culture. Recently, they reached another layer of fused green glass.
