One I remember was particularly good at persuading people to give to him, he even persuaded a wealthy Bro to fill his car with gas on a regular basis ! gas that he would use on his frequent trips to the golf course.

We live in a territory where a car is a must for field service. The best are the pioneers who don't drive or don't own a vehicle, and yet they're approved to be pioneers.

Not the pioneers. I only remember 1 Bethelite moocher and he eventually was asked to leave Bethel. Maybe he mooched too much there, too.

    LYINEYES:

I encountered a few when I was there and I steered clear of them and their chiseling ways. It made me sick.

As somebody who was criticized for working full-time, I was not about to give anything to somebody who didn't want to be part of the workforce. They thought they were going to ring doorbells and be "supported"? I don't think so.

Let them GO ask the religion for a handout!

Missionary, Wow. I didn,t upset us(wife and I) because they

sacrifice a lot to be there. But they literally use our home for

vacation. Brothers assign to various towns in the country would

come and stay for a few days and of course they had limit funds.

I had a family of four, one brother that came to visit often had a family

of four and he loved beer. LOL

These doofus types are similar to the perpetual students in our universities who have deep pocket trust funds or parents and are happy to be a student into their 40's?, 50's?, forever?

Funny story about the Brother with the family of four.

They were assigned to a desolate township. Brothers hated

going there to give talks. The KH over run with large cockroachs.

This is a true story. His wife told us, one day the

brother walks into the house with no shoes, honey what happen

to your shoes? I sold them. This brother sold his shoes in field service.

He was a character. Before becoming a JW, he was a hustler (selling

anything to anybody). He told me , sometimes it,s hard to get rid

    of old habits. Funny guy.

We had one pioneer in our group who never contributed gas money, so we would drive to the far end of the territory and leave him
