I notice Members on this board keeps telling me to re-read Revelation chapter 21 verse 1 & 2?

Let's get something str now, Nobody on the earth can know Everything & understand Everything from the bible 100%, I have a hard time understand Revelation, Examples: The four horsemen, Gog & ma'-gog? <------I'm sorry, but I dont get it... Anyway What's the deal With Revelation Chapter 21 verse 2? I think Everybody understands by now that This earth will turn back into A paradise-2 peter 3 verse 13, same with Revelation 21 verse 1

But Why do yall keep telling me to re-read it? Yall Cant ignore The New heavens<------144,000 & the new Earth<---------Rest of mankind, So either way I understand that, So Serious, Am i missing something about Verse 2?

NEW JERUSALEM, SOunds like a New Jerusalem Is gonna Come down from heaven, and land in the new earth, Right? Or am i wrong about Something

The current Wt understanding of this (new light???) is that the "anointed" (members of New Jerusalem) will never return to earth.

Unless you are going to mix the whole chapter up and say that it is a mix of literal and symbolic (which they are so good at doing), then the return to the new earth is as literal as the new earth itself.

On the score of Revelation 7 and 14 (Re: 144,000) there has been a plethora of words written on this subject.
The Wt continues to mix literal and symbolic here, too.

Take it from someone who was "anointed" as a JW Elder, that this is a subject that is very close to my heart.
I don't even pretend to have all the answers, but if it looks like doodooo, smells like doodoo, and sticks to the bottom of your shoe like doodoo, are you going to see if it tastes like doodoo?

...sadly I did that as well, and went away with a mouth full of doodoo!

Well the New Heavens, 144,000 Does not Really concern me, Well it kinda do, cause as it Is written, "DO YOU KNOW THAT THE HOLY ONES WILL JUDGE THE WORLD/144,000/SAINTS/etc-----> I will get judge by them, So in a Way it does concern me...

But the bottom line is: The paradise "EARTH" is Coming, and i Cant wait, Woo Hoo, So much fruit, and lovely animals, And I finally can hang out with noah & moses, yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeea!

    U2K:
The other day I posted a reply to you where I suggested that you read the other accounts where the "new heavens and the new earth" are mentioned.

2 Pet.3 is perhaps the best example.
Again, if you read it in context, taking it all as symbolic or all as literal (instead of doing the mishmash mixxy thing), you may see a different picture forming than the one that the Wt portrays.

    ...then again, maybe you wont!

Yeah, I'd say you missed the gist of verse 1 & 2.

Being in the org an all though, you probably should check v27.

But nothing unclean shall enter it, nor any one who practices abomination or falsehood, but only those who are written in the Lambs book of life.

I don't think the dubs are entering; haven't seen it happening anyway.

I especially reject the Dubs interpretation of Revelation. Look closely at it. In ONE SENTENCE they divide what's written into words or phrases that are to be taken literally, and others that are to be understood as symbolic - in the same sentence. Not only that, but there are words and phrases that according to one JW teaching is to be taken literally, but according to a different JW teaching that same word or phrase is to be understood as symbolic.

Any way you slice it, it's more nonsense from those fun-loving kidders, those mote-loving, hair-splitting, Jehovah's Witness pig-dogs.
