Was reading Zenpunk's thread about how it seems ex jw's go over the deep end and I tend to agree. I think that is normal after being repressed for so long.

However, it would sure be nice if we had more than one chat room here. I have visited the chat several times and it seems that usually (not always) it is about who was the drunkest, who had sex with someone, who is a lesbian, etc etc etc. Now, don't get me wrong. I really don't care if someone has sex with 16 people a day or at a time! I don't care if you choose to be blasted every second of the day, or if you just choose to drink once in awhile. Don't care if you are gay or lesbian. Please don't think I am juding here.

What I AM saying is I have gotten my endless partying out of my system and, while I absolutely adore sex,I am monogamous (after making one online mistake...with a JW!!!!) I would like a chat room where we would discuss other things, too. I would like to make friends with some of you and perhaps get some help getting over my jw experience (I was not the jw) and also try to help you move forward from your experience. I am not a counselor...I just would like to share some honest experiences and opinions and also know more about some of you than how much you can drink or what kind of sex you prefer.

Is it possible that we could have more then one chat room? That way, when one wants to talk about wild sex and drinking they can go to the, I don't know, the "No HOlds Barred" room or something and if someone wants to talk about other things they go to another room.

Right now, I feel that if I say anything serious in the chat room it will put a damper on the "party". So I sit there awhile, feeling pointless being there and finally leave.

Please, people, don't think I am offended by you or think you should quit your party and who can I shock next discussions. I just think some of us have been there and done that and we need another chat room. Enjoy your talks, that is what chat is for. Let's just branch out a little, if Simon can give us another room.

Plus, for anyone that IS a JW and is thinking about leaving, going to a chatroom that is all about drinking and oral, anal, multiple parnter sex will lead them to believe that everything they have heard about non JW's is true. Most of us worldly people lead pretty status quo lives. We enjoy a party, social drinking and we enjoy sex. We, however, are not in a contest regarding any of these passtimes. We are balanced, while at times we get unbalanced and need help to get balanced again.

Does this make any sense?

Hello again imiss - I agree with you. See - I didn't go "off the deep end" at all when I left. But I've noticed many who have - displaying shocking behaviour by almost all standards. And I've seen some of the chatroom antics you describe - it's kind of a shame really - but it all goes back to my theory. Anyway, you can be assured that I will never be rude to you in the room, so don't walk out on all of us! Take care -

Thanks, Zen. But please let me make it clear, noone has ever been rude to me in the chatroom. Not at all. I have nothing bad to say about anyone there.

Naeb, your comment just proves my point. I am sorry if you think I am bashing the chatroom...I am just asking for an additional one. Some of us are not interested in a foursome and would like to talk of other things in addition to (not excluding) sex, which is a great topic in itself, as long as it is not the only topic. And, how do you know if I ever did a foursome or not? If I have, does that make me a better person? My past is my past and I don't care to have it judged nor will I judge yours. I do not judge your present. I am just wishing for a place where I can talk to some people on here and get some answers about things other than sex and parties. If that offends you, then the offense is made up by you, unfortunately.

I was only kiddin with ya. You couldn't offend me if you danced on my mother's coffin singing The Witch is dead. A seperate chat room might be a good idea though I sincerely doubt that anyone would use it. Most people view the chatroom as a silly alternative to the heavyness of the main board. I think the suggestion to Simon for a separate chat room has been made before. You might try emailing him as well.

Naeb, whew!!!!! I thought I had offended someone already without meaning to! I can do that enough on purpose. lol. Good point about the chat silliness balancing the heaviness of these threads...I had not thought of it that way. I will email Simon and c if it has been suggested. Since I am new, you are probably right...it probably has been but I am going to try. BTW.....I will still appear on the current one at times....just sometimes I wish I could talk to people in a more serious or nonsexual way. :)

I know it's been raised before and I think it's a good idea. We should have an 'adult' chatroom and a normal one.

It's on my to-do list and I'll amaze you all by getting to it one day, honest

Web based chat systems suck ass. Everyone should get MIRC make a jw.com channel to chat on. With IRC you can log conversations, whisper, pose, trade files, play sounds, ignore, kick out undesirables, use bots.. ALso there are no 'browser incompatibilities' and other weirdness.

I thought I offended Naeblis in the past, but I learned he's not one to hold a grudge. I think the discussions on yahoo lean more towards the serious topics. You might want to try over there for the chats. But make sure you post here!
