Well I have not posted this on here yet, but I went and met that girl and we had the best weekend. It was so amazing. Everything felt right about it. I am going to see her again in a week. It is so crazy. I am so scared about the distance. But I know it is worth giving my all to.

Just go for it, what does distance matter. It's just a question of whether you want to move if it gets more serious. Hell, if I fell in love with a martian I would move to Mars.

wonderwoman77,
I am so glad it worked out for you. I was hoping you would meet someone special.
Speaking from personal experience, for the right person, it is worth it. The distance can be worked around, if one or both are willing to make the needed sacrifices.

Thanks Skeptic I appreciate it. I just got off the phone with her, we had an amazing conversation. I never get tired of talking to her or hearing her voice.

"When love beckons to you, follow him,
Though his ways are hard and steep.
And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
Though the sword hidden among his pinions
May wound you.
And when he speaks to you believe in him,
Though his voice may shatter your dreams
As the north wind lays waste the garden.
For even as love crowns you
So shall he crucify you.
Even as he is for your growth
So is he for your pruning.
Even as he ascends to your height and caresses
Your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun,
So shall he descend to your roots and
Shake them in their clinging to the earth."The Prophet by Gibran Kahlil Gibran
go for it. what does distance matter? Love can overcome all obstacles, you'll see.

speaking from experience.....
long distance is like one of the toughest things around. requires and enormous amount of trust and you REALLY have to love that person to make things work. be realistic about your expectations and what you would/will each give up to be together.
