Watched this exciting game in a overheated, overcrowded pub full of crazy Englishmen. Whatever my heartrate was the last 15 minutes, it was not healthy.
All through brilliant game for England. They deserved to win. When Owen hit the goalpost I feared it wasn't his day. But he got them the penalty that Beckham scored on.
And who'd imagine that England could pull off a brilliant defensive game? Heck, even Mills had a great game.

I thought England looked GREAT! There was some slopiness at the end, but then again Argentina did bring on quite a few fresh players. Nicky sure did make his presence known! And Mills ran the pitch like a champ!
I'm surprised Arg pulled Veron. He had some incredible passes that his teammates didn't act on, which made them look like bad passes.
