Bleep, you sorely misunderstand the true reason for the 'doom and gloom' messages inherent in Armageddon cults such as the one in which you participate.
The reason is this: people require motivation.
Which is really a more powerful expression of God's judgement, Fear of Death, or the actual death itself?
If you think about this question you will see that it is the former. Because death is no punishment. All living things die. If you don't believe me, look around.

Beans Im not discounting that alot of the depictions of Armageddon are gruesome in the WTS publications, but neither of the photos you provided have alot to do with a destruction of the WTC at all. In fact, you took them WAY out of context.
Here are the covers, the first one is not showing an air disaster at all, its showing a city with an airplane, which is upon magnification is clearly a Concorde jet. The second is a picture of the WTC, possibly, yes, but it also shows a tractor pulling DIRT, not an explosion as you so misleadingly tried to depict.

Yea i can agree that all living things die. Why would God make man to live a mear 70 to 80 years? Would that be long enough to see if a person is really good or bad? Also why would God decide if we should go to heaven or hell if we are at such an imperfect state and slave to sin? Also why would there be other creations that have no consience and life to be many many years older? If they had a consience then those creations would have a much better chance to live in heaven. Such as a turtle or a tree.

God's day of judgement will come someday and will not involve some airplane falling to the earth. He will use much greater force than that. Why would God need help? He created the earth and the heavens which is much greater than anything. I will have to agree that this subject about the World Trade Center has no role in God's judgement day. God's judgement day will come when the earth turns on his people. Why will they turn on God's people? Becouse the governments will be mad at all religion. Babylon the great will fall first though.

You make an assumption without remotely considering its veracity. You are saying that humans are unique in that they have a conscience. This is what you feel. But you are not thinking.
Were you to actually think about it, you would see that your assumption is really a circular argument:
'Because God created man with a conscience and animals without a conscience, therefore man has a conscience and animals do not.'
What is worse is that the Bible refrains from saying that or even implying that. Remember the book of Job?... 'Where were you when I created Leviathan'? Do you know how Leviathan (or any other animal) thinks? You are making yourself the judge of what is God's will.
Anyhow, we all post on this board to have our opinions heard and challenged. So stick around. Your might experience a paradigm shift. It will be fun.

oh nooooo. Death is a Punishment for sinning. We have to pay with our very lives. If we choose to disobey while perfect we will be punished one last time. Why not get it right the first time and try to be the best borg we can be?
