Thank you so much for that, that was, in my best JW lingo "thought provoking"!
As you can appreciate, I am still in the process of re-examining all of my beliefs, and trying to work out who I am!
The definition of faith is a real biggie!

Hey Matty, ............thanks for your honesty. 'spouting garbage from the platform' whoa!, would like to say that surprised me but I've sat through too many meetings. But KNOWING that it's 'garbage'. May you have a huge measure of peace as you continue towards the unification of your heart, mind, gut, and mouth.
Thanks SloBoy! To me, doubt is still synonymous with guilt and weakness, as belief is with faith. This is how Ive always been trained. Although apologists may deny this, doubt is a definitely dirty word amongst Jehovahs Witnesses. It is thought of as a Achilles heel for true Christians. I need to be able to re-evaluate the word and feel comfortable about my uncertainty!
Can faith really exist without doubts?
Good question, I don't think it can if one is truly honest with themselves. That is why it is called a struggle with faith, we must struggle against doubts.
I was called before the elders after my ex-wife turned me in when she found bookmarks to apostate sites. The Elders asked: "How do you feel about the Truth?"
I said: "I feel the truth its the truth!" LOL I simply didn't use the same definition as they did for truth.
I got to the point when I still attended meetings that I would not comment on any paragraph that I had doubts on. I would look for any paragraph in the WT study that talked about Jesus and would always answer that one and put much emphisis on Jesus, they started to realize that I was a bit different and stayed away from me. I guess I liked Jesus too much for their taste.
