At 10:05'ish he equates a lost sheep with an "inactive one". Then he makes the connection that inactive ones are sinners and need to repent. Who made him the judge?

What an asinine twist of logic he's babbling out. Who says that being "inactive" means one's a sinner? It's the GB's rules and regulations that make this judgment not the Bible.

What Tony the Turd is dishing out is stinky dog-sh!t. It's not even bull-sh!t, at least with manure you can grow vegetables. His nonsense is worthless.

    Right...

Return to Jehovah ... and bring your checkbook and credit card ... NOW!

And the thing is only 16 pages?

Clearly, even the GB couldn't come up with very many reasons that anybody would return to that cult!

I think this forum has come up with a library filled with reasons NOT to return. Kinda makes WT efforts look pretty pathetic.

    Return to Jehovah????

That means: Go to the elders and be officially disfellowshipped= friends, relatives, not even your parents will be allowed to talk to you, not even a "hello".

Now things are worst for you than at the beginning.

    That is a "loving arrangement"!!!!

I think you would agree, Jehovah is very pleased with that video.

It represents and reflects his personality.

I was just talking to him and he told me how pleased he was.

    30:30

When your inactive, when you know you left Jehovah God,

Not always have they gone into great immoral behavior, they just left Jehovah and hurt him.

Darn inactive people who do they think they are, hurtin Jehovah ?? Bullies!

Yeah, I listened to the whole thing more tolerable than Lett.

Q: Do I ever reminisce about the good times I had with Jehovah's people?

A:The good times were the teen dance parties after the CA and DC which were outlawed in the early '70s

Q: How about an encouraging congregation meeting?

A: The one where i was encouraged to do more or the one where I was encouraged to give more? No wait, the ones where I was ignored.

    Q: An encouraging convention?

A: Lets see, give me a minute, ok I liked the one where they had a giant three dimensional lighted brain and throbbing heart. It was very scientifical

Q: You must have had an encouraging time in the ministry.

A: Absolutely. My favorite was back in the 70's when the young hippie I was studying with invited her boyfriend to sit in. It took me a while to see that the crotch was completely ripped out of his pants......AND he wasn't wearing any under ware!

Q: Or simply a pleasant conversation with a fellow believer?

A: I had many simple conversations

    Thanks for asking

Yes, "everything" and nothing - nothing about addressing the actual reasons people left in the first place.

    Great point Steve!

They fail to realise that most have left because they see the org as the bullshit that it is!

3rdgen, I loved your Q&A session about this video! It was spot on!

One point worth my reminiscing about was the time when a CO used the story of the Japanese murderer who'd studied while in prison and was still executed despite his "full rehabilitation" thanks to studying WT publications.

The CO knew this story was a tear jerker, however, using it in the Assembly, local congregation visits, and even on visits to folks homes, it lost a lot of emotional coup, and we were somewhat desensitized to it by the end of his assignment.

It also gives fuel to the witness judgemental attitudes!

Now, "super spiritual" ones will be looking with a critical eye for any who they can deem to be inactive or weak to share this "wonderful" brochure with!

If any of us are not sure how we are viewed amongst the gossipy throngs, then just wait for them to come around with this in hand!

"so you have deemed me to be in need of this have you?"

This guy's an ipecac... "Do you ever reminisce about the good times you had with Jehovah's people? An encouraging congregation meeting? Thrilling convention? A delightful experience in the ministry? Or, simply a pleasant conversation with a fellow believer?... God, that's beautiful!" Ugh! I think I threw up in my mouth with that one...

I would be happy to trade the magazine (and sentiment) for just giving me my family back. That would be swell cause then, I wouldn't have to "reminisce".

    40 years.
