What are your posting habits?

Just a question that occurred to me. How often do you post here?

Let me tell you about my posting habits to get the ball rolling.

I never post during the morning (equivalant to midnight-3AM in America), purely because I A) have to get to work, busy busy, and B) I am not terribly lucid before my 3rd cup of coffee

Lunchtimes I sit at my desk and browse and read selected interesting topics, but not all of the new ones for about 30 minutes.

Then, after dinner I'll sit and really read through earlier threads which interested me, and post. Thanks to taking a typing class, I can bang out something like 50 WPM, so it's no trouble at all for me to clock up 30 posts a day.

Plus, you are all so cool + interesting, and what other group of people share my peculiar interests on such a nice, cleanly designed site? I must say, I've tried using other forums, and none so far have equalled the ease of use and sheer user-friendliness of this one!

I post in fits and starts, some days I write just one or two well thought out long posts, and other days, like today, I just jump on every damn thread I can lay my hands on and write complete and utter crap. Which is what Im doing right now, so Id better sign off!

I check the PC throughout the day ... and when I see a post that interests me, I generall make a comment ... some posts inspire ideas, causing me to start a new thread.

As you well know, I like doing series postings ... this allows me to break a topic down into several shorter posts, respecting people's time.

My interests vary greatly across the spectrum of religious-biblical, science, political, social, personal; experiences, etc. So, the wide variety of posts here take a lot of time ... but then I read very fast, and get through many posts ...

I don't mind flame wars because I believe that people need a venue to work out issues and relationship struggles ... but they are risky to get involved in.

Sometimes, I like to just post my thought processes and see what sort of feedback I get ... sometimes it helps just to know that I can write something and someone will listen, care, and take time to comment ...

I can't discuss my posting habits as they're all dirty and Simon might get mad.........hehehe

I'm "working" from home right now so I check all the time..and post a lot. When July rolls around I'll actually have to work 4 days a week for an evil 6 hours a day, which means I won't be able to goof off as much...um I meant work from home as much...hehe

    Sincerely.

Wow SYN, sounds like you have it down to an exact science! heehee.

My posting habits are quite a bit more sporadic than all that.

If there's time i peruse the site during the day on break and/or lunch, posting as i go. If too busy, i will try to come early or stay a little late after work once or twice a week to catch up a bit on reading and replies, or my own threads.

There's no real rhyme or reason for which days i hang out on here, mainly depends on my mood and how busy with other schtuff.

It's probably a good thing i don't have a 'puter @ home yet, cuz if i did you people wouldn't be able to get rid o' me and i'd rarely see daylight! This place is addictive and yes, user-friendly!!

This site can get very time-consuming, which is why I don't check it during work hours...

Yeah, I'm a very rhythmic person. I get up at exactly the same time every morning, do exactly the same things to get ready for work, drink exactly the same amount of coffee, eat brunch at exactly the same time, and so forth. I find it quite soothing. In fact, the woman who works at the next desk to me is always saying "It's 11AM, time for breakfast!" She has my schedule down that well! It kinda freaks me out, these invisible, rigid lines I construct for myself

    My posting habits:

    I rant.

    Frequently.

I try to return the favor.
