Ok, so he never married.
Was a tent maker - the biggest give-away.
Had a hatred for women - women put in their place in congregation.
This thorn in his flesh - a weakness that he constantly struggled with.
Sorry, just for a laugh.

He was all things to all men...

The apostle Paul point blank condemned homosexuality. In the same clear language, with respect to the Church, stated that there is no distinction between male and female. He included women in the qualification of service in the congregation.
Yes, he spoke of headship of men over women, and of women wearing a head covering ... these were his opinions for the Church customs in Corinth, mixed with his Judeo background ...
Generally Paulian Christology is about the most 'liberal' and 'liberating' of any of the Christian Bible writers. It is the words of Paul that gave me the religious courage to tell the Watchtower to go screw themselves, and know that I will not go to hell for saying that.
PS: I know you were having fun, but I felt that a serious note would jnot hurt.
amazing:
so what if paul condemned homosexuality? that doesn't mean he wasn't gay. he could've been in denial. besides, many of the letters attributed to paul weren't written by him according to some Bible scholars and may have been written by a variety of other ministers/writers/whatever.
the dustrabbit
Amazing is right. Paul allowed women to worship with men in the congregation. This was a far cry from the Jewish synagogue where woman were kept separate from men during worship. He was a liberal for his time.
Who said Paul was not married? The Gay issue is just rubbish.

Paul did NOT condemn homosexuality, and because of that, I can't point scriptures out to you.
Paul no speaka da Englis. Paul say absolutely nothing that a lot of people say he said.
Here are some ideas about Chrsitianity, the bible, and homosexuality:

And while you're about it, here, just as Amazing says, is Paul, the bible, and Women:

And many many more.
Seems to me...........
.......you can make any specualtion you want to but it doesn't make for one iota of truth. I could contend the moon WAS made of cheese. Do you believe me? Why not?
This contention is just as silly. I'm glad it was asked in jest.
I'm also glad that Amazing pointed out that Paul was a liberal and he was not a male chauvenist, as some contend, but quite the opposite.
Cheers, Ozzie (of the "truth in context" class)
