are you saying alot of sexual abuse cases don't "qualify" for some reason?......... can you explain more clearly what the limitations are?......... please put it in laymans terms.

hi kimberly,.......thanks for the reply again.

so, ....... a child who has been repeatedly raped, or molested since they can remember.......has until age 20 to report it?

and they same goes for someone who is over 18........ if they are raped by an elder, they have 2 yrs to file a law suit? ............. how come catolic priests are being arrested for crimes they commited long ago? .......are their victims, who are suing them, all under 20 yrs of age........ or withing 2 years of the last raping?

From what I understand 20 years old is the oldest you can file a complaint. That sucks for people like me. I knew something was wrong at 16, having a dual personality, but the reason did not come up until I was 28 and the "full" reason, not until I was about 30!

kimberly, ........ just a few more questions.............. if a jw child around 17yrs old comes forward, who has been sexually molested by her own father, and was silence by the elders, ......and has proof...... if you represented them, who would you sue?......... the elders, the father, the gov body?

if an exjw victim of child abuse or rape comes forward....... around how much money would they stand to get, for compensation, if you win the case?

which would be better, ........ to handle all the cases indiviually, or together?

    Atty. Norris,

If you have not yet read my post "PLEASE HELP - WT LAWSUIT PROGRESSING" you may want to take a minute to review it. My lawsuit was filed in early 1998 with regards to the present pleadings. While the abuse issues do not exclusively center around child molestation, the arguments of protecting and covering up the "crime" (battering) reveal much about the dynamics of the religious authority of "Watchtower" while at the same time the pleadings attempt to argue the Court's need to limit the First Amendment protection by secularizing the incidents alleged as opposed to generalizing 'religious protection' of them. Civil suits such as mine have been rare and therefore is being fought against aggressively, Watchtower is using two separate groups of lawyers to defend.

I posted approximately 9 PM ET on Sunday, June 16, 2002

As you see here, my post name is Naomimara

Today I recieved notice that the present attorney of record (he returned to the case last January when it became necessary to file an appellate brief) has requested another 30 day extension to file. We have a total of 3 judicial decisions, that of course are accessible through Lexus or Westlaw.

If I can be of any help or answer further questions, please feel free.
