So, what happens at the end of a Snipe hunt? In my experience, everyone laughs and points to you as being such a fool.

My goal is to get the last laugh. Remember that living a successful life is the greatest revenge.

In Australia we have Hoop- Snakes that put their tail in their mouth become a hoop and chase you! .. yeah right.

Where I went to college it was "Side-hill Dodgers" but the idea is all the same. And yes, it always ended with beers and laughing. Upon thinking about it, it usually began with beers, too.

Yup - Haggis in Scotland have three legs - two longer ones at the rear and a short one at the front.

This way, they stay level as they run up the Scottish hills & mountains! :)

Good thread Kairos. Funny stuff . I actually WAS duped on a real snipe hunt when I was in my early 20's on a hiking trip in the woods with JW pioneers years ago who I pioneered with. It was pretty embarrassing. But hey, I don't take myself too seriously so I don't mind being the butt of a joke sometimes. LOL !

But I ended the WT or JW snipe hunt when I exited the organization back in 2003. Not going to be duped anymore by religious snipe hunts ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper
