  Thank you for the validation!!! This is so true. Although as DA brought out different things work for different people.
  I like to think we can all be open minded and accepting of all. (doesn't always work out that way, but it is a good concept)
  I think we all need to be reminded of our accomplishments.

  Always nice to see new faces.
  Just being, I understand your confusion. Continue to check out the JW beliefs and I think it will give you a better handle on your friend. And go easy on him. Just be a friend. Hopefully, he will begin to think on his own.

  I need to say, as I believe the apostle Paul would say if he were here, my mindset is in hormony with Jehovah Gods written guideline and not that of another individual or organization. I stand or fall before my God Jehovah, not my fellow flesh and blood or organizations.

  I do not want to sound rude, however, I do not need to be congratulated for having an open mind. That is what all of Jehovah's people had (when we look closely), that was recorded in th Bible had. I am no different, just flesh and blood like them, but in a different life span of time or history.

  I hope this day finds you and your in good health, at peace with yourself, your fellowman and Jehovah through his Son, Jesus Christ.

  Thanks for the welcome. I do appreciate it.It has been a week since I have heard from my friend.I will remain his friend..though the silence from him is hard to accept. I still keep in touch with him.How I know things would change if I wrote him and said "guess what..I went to the kh..and want to learn more.."..He would gladly keep in touch wouldn't he? I am his friend unconditionally as I have said before..and in becoming his friend,I have searched on my own..trying to understand the church he is involved in...maybe that was the purpose of us meeting that day..of opening my eyes to the jw for if it hadn't of been for him I wouldn't be here discussing this.
