"What a wonderful world"--recognizing that the people outside of the borg are full of love
my boyfriend Jonathan and the life we're creating together
my 3 dogs--Harley, Mookh, and Bindi (even though they need lots of attention and exercise!)
the 2 kids I help take care of--Daniel and Naomi (and their generous parents)
water--the beach, lakes, ponds, streams, pools, hot tubs, baths--anything I can get into!
friends!
laughter
sunshine
birds chirping
rainy nights
good food
chocolate
ice cream
good books
the computer;)
I find it fascinating that I can enjoy my days now--I don't dread going to the meetings, service, etc. I don't fear the world anymore. I love life, and am trying to enjoy each and every day as it comes. I am finally living in the present moment, instead of worrying about whether or not I'm going to "make it". Life is good!

Nice post eyegirl!
Some of the simple pleasures for me include special moments with my daughter, laughing and kidding with her. I also enjoy my little nephew, he is so cute!
I always enjoy having lunch or dinner out with my wife. It's a time for good conversation between us.
I enjoy keeping in touch with my friends, including the ones I've met here. I have met some very special people here.
I enjoy a good workout playing tennis or basketball. Listening to music is enjoyable. A good movie too.
And of course, the things we tend to take for granted.....running water, good food, a decent place to live. And right now, after a week of heat and humidity.....air conditioning!!

Oh , I LOVE this, an ice cold can of Coca Cola Classic in the morning and a cold slice of cheesecake. Heavenly. It has to be the real coke, I think they put happy drugs in it, so soothing.

Feeling the wind on my face, my eyes watering behind my sunglasses, hugging my honey as we ride along on our bike.......
The great joy of just being able to do what I want!
