I found this article facinating...I lived close to Watchtower Farms and had first hand heard about a lot of this activity.

The article talks about Craig Button ...... his sister is one of my best friends and has been now for 20 years now. She is not one of JW's. Craig was raised in the truth since age 2, Susane was out of the house already and her father was married to Craig's mom.
I had met Craig several times, he was not in the least homosexual. And for him to ask for information on the "end of the world" is ridiculous. He didn't join the Air Force til he was in his early 20's. I am sure that his parents probably commented on his career choice (even tho his dad had been in the Air Force all of his life, but pre-JW). Craig wanted to fly and the Air Force was his only option and he had just gotten the go-ahead to go to Germany and fly over there, life was looking up for him, the family strongly believes suicide was not the reason for his death.

Care to tell us why you think that, Wholeweat?

Yes, I can. The apostates claim that the Society quotes sources, and then doesn't give the full information of their source. What is any different here? Who is "Larry D."? If Larry is an ex-Witness he should come out with his whole name before spreading gossip. Wouldn't you agree? There have been incidents of homosexuality at Bethel in the past, but this article tries to imply that immorality has been a severe problem at Bethel, especially homosexuality. To me it is grasping for straws.

The tone of the article is a little suspect...can some people here who know more about the events enlighten us as to what actually happened in these instances?

was it the part where it stated that the Society denies Russel was ever married?
