Sorry to hear of your pain. I'm sure it is unique to each one of you and also similar. My wife's mon and dad lost four children. One he ran over with a truck himself, he never really recovered from that and drank too much the rest of his life, died at 91. His oldest son died while driving the same truck, there was some suspicion that he was murdered, since some way he fell out of the truck while driving and the boys with him couldn't explain exactly how it happened. Another died in his mothers arms after taking some type of medicine and the other shortly after birth. I don't think I could have endured all of that bad luck.

rekless,
I am terribly sorry to hear about this and what happened. Just as I am with many other of my friends and co-workers who have had similar hurt.
However, each case is different with different therapies. Thus, I must take a step back and review the MIA case. I was dealing with that case when it came to my discussion with Fred and her condition. MIA's case required transfusions to offset the chemo. ALL doctors including world renound doctors stated so even in a court of law under oath. If she didn't use this therapy death was certain. Use the therapy she had a 40 % chance. Lee Elder et. al. have also provided serious information on the issue.
I was not in anyway trying to hurt you or make you re-live a loss. I was trying to make a point with Fred (who has been sidestepping the issue and was trying to shift the argument) on two specific issues relating to MIA's case and the Fitzwater's case and I will continue to make that point with Fred. I have my reasons as Lisa has noted. I am terribly sorry if that offends you but I am not in any way trying to hurt you.
Finally, thanks to the therapy, MIA is doing much better. She is going into her final round of 4 treatments that she has had since earlier this year. It seems she may turn out to be one of the lucky 40 %. She is even being allowed on day passes out of the hospital.

I'm sorry you're hurting. I can see why it's hard for you to understand why some of us treat Fred with respect. It's not meant in any way to disrespect those who have passed away. As sad as your situation is, it's just as sad to watch faithful JWs like Fred, dying of cancer, who won't accept treatment because they think Jehovah will kill them off eternally. Those bastards at 117 Adams are heartless, childless, fuckups.

Reckless,
Sorry to hear about your son.
