No copying the list? There is a solution: Google. Whatever your favorite search engine is, you just run hotels in that city into that search engine. Chances are good that you are going to get a better deal--the same or better quality room at a lower price, or a much better room at the same or slightly higher price. And you can make your reservation online, saving you the waste of time and tolls on the phone.
This can also work around the no-food-at-the-venue problem. You want to pick up something? If your motel is near a Wegmans, Raleys, or Publix, you are in luck. This can also work to your advantage if you wish to pick up some batteries for your Game Boy or Nintendo 3DS (so you can keep them charged) or your MP3 player. You can check how close your store is to the motel while you are checking online, and not be stuck shopping for your lunch at some dumpy store.
