people post their thoughts on a day in the life in Pleasantville (oops - paradise):
Heidi: I feel the warmth of the morning sun on my face as it gently nudges me awake. What's the weather going to be like today? Another beautiful day in paradise! I jump (yes, jump...no pain or fatigue in paradise!) out of bed to go get breakfast. As I walk downstairs to the first level, I thank Jehovah for allowing me to be a part of this. As I walk outside to get breakfast, I see my tiger playing with her two little cubs and the friendly neighborhood giraffe. Now...what should I have for breakfast today? Banana? Mango? Papaya? I think papaya. I pick a couple off the tree for myself and my adoring husband of 10,000 years. I go back upstairs to wake him up and together, we walk out to our deck and enjoy the view of the rolling waves of the ocean. After breakfast we take a nice walk, hand in hand, of course, along the beach to visit our neighbors. It's been a couple hundred years since we've seen them as they have been off visiting family. When we get there, they welcome us with open arms as we catch up with each other what's happened in the last couple centuries.
After a satisfying lunch with them, we take a leisurely walk back home. On the way we meet a lovely couple who are walking with their cheetah. They are visiting from across the ocean. My husband invites them to come spend some time with us. The four of us all prepare a delectable dinner and enjoy it almost as much as we enjoy each other's company. After dinner we gathered around the piano and sang songs of praise to Jehovah. I then decide it is a perfect time for a quick dip in the ocean. So we all walk down stairs and out to the back yard. Some dolphins frolic along with us. After the swim we go back upstairs to enjoy the last part of the day with a little dessert. The view is absolutely beautiful. I am so glad my husband decided to add this deck onto our house. It is perfect. I prepare the guest room for our new friends and we all say our 'good nights'. Yawn. Another beautiful day in paradise.
we're going to take these magnificent creatures and make pets out of them? what will these animals eat anyway? mangoes? and who's going to feed them if they don't hunt their food for themselves? any witnesses around who want to answer these questions? i never could get an answer. maybe you can help, anyone who is lurking. thank you.
