Well, I finally became a US citizen! Yeah! I had to wake up early in the morning, around six. I took a bath and good dressed. I left home around six thirty. I got to the auditorium near the Intercontinental Airport. There were already a lot of people there. I got in line outside to wait to get inside. When I got inside I got in another line. I waited for about twenty minutes. When I finally got to the front, I was told that I was in the wrong line. I had to go on another line and I gave the lady my invitation letter and my green card. I then went on another line and I was given an orange colored paper slip with my resident card number on it. I then went inside and got a seat next to an Asian couple. It was beginning to take a long time for the ceremony to start. Finally, this woman came to the microphone and told the audience that the ceremony was going to start in a few minutes. I then got up and I walked around. I came back and the ceremony started. A judge and these two lawyers came out. The judge asked several questions to the lawyers. Later we all had to get up, raise our right hands and swear that we would protect and honor all the laws of the United States. We all then left depending on the color of our slips. Unfortunately, orange was the last slip mentioned. I then left and at noon I went to work.
