Hi Cygnus,
I hate to read post like this, but you seem to be the kind of man that can take it and come back running. Wishing you the fastest recovery in history.

Oh dear, I'm sorry about this. You will be just fine, I know it .
Sending lots of positive vibes your way.

A brother in our congregation just had heart surgery to replace his valves. He is in his late thirties, and naturally because he wouldn't take blood he was quite worried. Everything went fine, and he is doing very well. Before, he was real weak and now he is taking walks every day. Before he was a witness he took a lot of cocaine which damaged his heart, he was really in bad shape, but since his surgery he has a new lease on life. At least you can take blood if you need it! I hope the best for you!
((((cyggy)))) get better buddy!
Cyg,
Dang! That is a bummer. Thank goodness they discovered it before anything more developed, old warrier friend.
I'll say a little prayer to the overweight black lady in the Bronx welfare tenement (God as I see her) for your quick recovery, ok?

Hope it all goes well for you, man.
Hang in there dude!
Cygnus;i'm so sorry.
It's scary thinking of any procedure- but they are so skilled nowadays,so super efficient ;arn't they?
it's always worse beforehand.
A very good family friend had an angiogram done last year. He's 75- and got through it really well.
He needs treatment- but they're now saying he's too weak for more surgery;his heart is beating on the wrong rhythm;he needs electric shock treatment to sort it out, but is'nt strong enough as his underlying prob was found too late.
I'm SO glad you're getting sorted out when you're young.Let us know how you feel from time to time...xxxxx
