Dakota, thanks for relaying your story LOL.

A few years back I went out for a girls night out. I hadn't eaten much for a few days and had only eaten soup for lunch that day. I didn't realize what we were being served that evening were doubles. My drink of choice for the night was "Sea Breezes" I had at least fhree or four doubles. I don't remember a lot but one of my co-workers insisted I was trying to pay her for keeping up with my purse. When we finally were getting ready to leave my friends were kind enough to consfiscate my keys. We went back to the office so they could try to sober me up. (My home was an hours drive away). In the back of the car I began to feel quite sick so I hollered for the driver to roll down the window, I was gonna be sick!. She about went into a panic, asking me to hold on a few minutes we were almost there. I told her I was ok, I found a plastic grocery sack in the back. We arrived back at the office and they were coaxing me to get out of the back of the car. I refused to get out until I had the handles of the bag secured around my ears. We went inside (all of this on the security cameras). When it became apparent that I wasn't going to sober up soon, they elected the receptionist to call my hubby to come and get me. He acted upset with her and my other co-workers while actually laughing about the whole situation. I remember waving to them as we left and telling them I would see them the next day (Friday) at work. The office manager laughed saying she was sure I wouldn't make it-she was right. She tried to cover for me ( my boss informed me of this when I went in and made my work up Saturday). He gave me a hug and told me it was alright. I did tell him I learned my lesson - no more girls night out on a worknight. oh and that I would eat something solid before drinking.

Fortunately for me, I never was all that big of a drinker. Just a few episodes. Maybe that is why I just lost interest in it, as I did. In fact, my first wife complained many times that I wouldn't "let my hair down and have a few drinks." I had more fun staying sober and watching all the others at a party making complete fools out of themselvs. LOL, then I got to be the one telling them the next day.
