The scripture was about not putting a muzzle, in other words not being the instrument which causes someone to no longer be allowed to speak.

i am kind of new at this post but not at my beliefs and decision to "walk away" back in 1997 from the jw's. why are you returning to the jw's? is it to help your friends and family "get out" and the only way you think you can reach them is to be "in" or do you believe what they teach as actual "truth"?
