There is a support group over there, actually two groups. One meets in Fremont, and the other meets up in San Rafael, each once a month.

The support group in Fremont meets the 4th Sunday of each month for 2 hours. Sometimes there are only a few people there, sometimes up to a dozen. It is just a group discussion with a facilitator to move things along. People talk about their JW experiences and how their lives have been impacted. No religious agenda or WT bashing. It is fairly informal. There is no official BBQ, but sometimes we have cookies or go out for a bite to eat afterward.
